Target audience
Teachers of any language at primary, secondary or adult level.
Technical requirements for participants
- Intermediate level of English
- Basic knowledge of Blogs and 2.0 tools
Objectives
Generate strategies and methodological resources to use ICT meaningfully in the classroom.
Design context-based activities to promote communicative and digital competence of our students
Promote learning by sharing with peers
Programme
Module 1: Social Networks: Facebook & Twitter in the classroom
Module 2: Podcasting: Oral competence mixing media
Module 3: Video: Flipping the classroom. Storytelling.
Module 4: Mind Maps to represent knowledge
Module 5: PLE: Personal Learning Environments for teachers and learners.
(Note: Mobile learning: apps to learn on the go, will be Cross-modular content.)
Methodology
Use of Moodle Platform and Social Networks to interact and learn.
First, we'll find out how teachers are using the new tools presented. Then, we'll learn the technical basics of the tools and right after design activities for our class, to share and reflect with the other class participants.
Credit Requirements
Do all the tasks required and a final project for your class.
